We are looking for a highly motivated and empathetic Teaching Assistant to join an established SEN School in Snetterton. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to a positive and nurturing setting, assisting children and young people with a variety of complex needs, including autism, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties, and learning disabilities.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be a key member of the team, collaborating with teachers and other professionals to support pupils' academic growth, personal development, and overall wellbeing. Your primary goal will be to help create an inclusive, safe, and positive space where every child can flourish and succeed.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to pupils, both on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
- Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and daily activities.
- Help pupils develop their independence, communication, and social skills.
- Monitor and document pupil progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies.
- Supervise pupils during breaks and lunch periods.
- Uphold all safeguarding protocols to ensure the safety and welfare of every child.
What We're Looking For
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- A current Child DBS on the update service.
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in an SEN environment.
- A calm, resilient, and compassionate nature.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
