We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEN school in East Harling. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be an integral part of our school community, working alongside teachers and other professionals to support pupils' academic, personal, and social development. Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to pupils, both on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
- Assist with classroom setup and the preparation of learning materials.
- Encourage and develop pupils' independence, communication, and social skills.
- Monitor student progress and report back to the class teacher.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and external professionals.
- Supervise pupils during break and lunch periods.
- Ensure all safeguarding protocols are followed to guarantee pupil safety and wellbeing.
What We're Looking For
- The legal right to work in the UK.
- A valid Child DBS on the update service.
- Prior experience working with children or young people, with a preference for an SEN setting.
