We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic SEN school in Old Buckenham. About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be a key part of our educational team, working closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils' learning, wellbeing, and personal development. Your role will be to help create a safe, positive, and inclusive space where every child can feel secure and thrive.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised support to pupils, both on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
- Assist with lesson preparation and the day-to-day organisation of the classroom.
- Encourage and support pupils in developing their communication, independence, and social skills.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to the class teacher.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and external agencies.
- Supervise pupils during breaks and lunch times.
- Uphold all safeguarding responsibilities to ensure the welfare and safety of every child.
What We're Looking For
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- A current Child DBS on the update service.
- Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in an SEN environment.
- A compassionate, empathetic, and adaptable nature.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn and engage in professional development.
- A genuine desire to make a meaningful impact on young lives.
