What Your Day Will Look Like:
As a Teaching Assistant, your role will be dynamic and deeply rewarding. You'll be involved in:
- Tailored Student Support: Delivering one-to-one and small group assistance, adapting approaches to meet diverse learning styles and needs.
- Classroom Facilitation: Working alongside teachers to prepare engaging materials and execute creative, differentiated activities.
- Nurturing Environment: Cultivating a positive and secure atmosphere where students feel empowered, respected, and eager to learn.
- Holistic Development: Guiding students in developing crucial social, emotional, and independent living skills.
- Essential Care: Providing respectful support with personal care and mobility, ensuring student comfort and safety.
- Progress Tracking: Observing and documenting student progress, contributing valuable insights to individual learning plans.
- Team Collaboration: Partnering with staff, families, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each child.
- IEP Implementation: Actively applying Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and positive behavior strategies to foster success.

- A genuine commitment to supporting children and young people with special educational needs.
- Child DBS on the update service
- Exceptional patience, empathy, and an optimistic outlook.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with students and colleagues.

- While SEN experience is beneficial, it's not strictly required. We highly value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and grow with us.
