Your Role and Responsibilities

- Champion Individual Learning: Work closely with students, helping to deliver personalised learning plans and adapting lessons to meet their specific needs and learning styles.

- Communicate and Collaborate: Act as a vital bridge between students, teachers, and parents. Your detailed observations and feedback will be essential in shaping a student's support and progress.
- Foster Social Skills: Help students develop meaningful friendships and social skills during class activities, breaks, and school trips, promoting a sense of belonging.
- Provide Holistic Support: Assist with personal care and student well-being with the utmost dignity and respect, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the school day.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking someone with a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs. The perfect candidate will have:
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Child DBS on the update service
- Empathy and Resilience: The ability to connect with students on their level, remaining positive and patient even during challenging times.
- A Proactive Mindset: A keen eye for detail and the initiative to anticipate needs and find creative solutions to problems.
- A Collaborative Spirit: A desire to work as part of a supportive and friendly team, sharing ideas and celebrating collective achievements.
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a school, care, or voluntary setting working with children with SEN is highly desirable. A relevant qualification, such as a Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, would also be a plus.
