About the Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team near Waterbeach. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to helping children with special educational needs reach their full potential. You'll play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, empowering students to overcome challenges and thrive both in and out of the classroom.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with various special educational needs.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring materials are accessible and engaging.
- Help maintain a calm, supportive, and motivating classroom atmosphere.
- Contribute to students' social, emotional, and physical development.
- Work with teachers and other professionals to ensure a holistic and cohesive approach to student support.
- Assist with the general supervision and well-being of students throughout the school day.

- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a special educational needs setting.
