A supportive beautiful primary school in Wirral is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who have additional needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, CLD, and PMLD.
This full-time role runs for the academic year, with the potential for a permanent contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting pupils with SEN in-class and through targeted interventions.
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
Working closely with teaching staff and the SENCO.
Recording progress and helping adapt learning materials.
What You'll Need:
Experience in a primary school or care/support setting.
Understanding of SEN and a patient, resilient approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
