Are you an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer looking to make a significant impact in the manufacturing industry? We're seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team in Bristol and play a crucial role in enhancing plant reliability, improving throughput, and driving de-carbonization initiatives.
As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be the single point of contact for electrical management within your designated operational areas (Calcination, BL1, and VAP). Your responsibilities will include:
- Owning the electrical budget for your area.
- Preparing comprehensive shutdown plans and organizing contractor work packages.
- Utilizing our CMMS to build a yearly standard maintenance plan and forecast budget requirements.
- Collaborating with engineering and internal customers to achieve optimal OEE and ME figures.
- Creating, developing, and managing an FMECA database for the plant.
- Supporting the development of new maintenance plans.
- Ensuring AM/PM 7-step methodology is supported and followed.
- Determining optimal plant standards and formulating improvement plans.
- Monitoring reactive trends and implementing preventative measures.
- Leading Continuous Improvement activities, including de-carbonization and throughput projects.
- Supporting CAPEX and other projects within the plant.
- Line managing and developing the PM Engineer and Automation Engineer.
We're looking for a qualified and competent industrial Electrical Engineer with:
- Proven experience in a similar electrical engineering role within the manufacturing industry.
- A strong understanding of all electrical systems, including PLC & Automation, networking, SCADA, AC drive systems, and general material handling systems.
- Knowledge of PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and continuous improvement techniques.
- People management experience, with a demonstrated ability to develop and motivate a team.
- An organized, self-starting approach with a keen eye for innovation.
