đź“ť Key Role & Leadership Responsibilities
This is a senior opportunity to lead and influence social work practice within North Tyneside, focusing on quality, performance, and compliance.
Practice Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction to social work teams, ensuring high standards of professional practice and effective service delivery across all functions.
Quality Assurance: Oversee and implement robust quality assurance frameworks to monitor and evaluate social work practice, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring services are effective and compliant with statutory requirements.
Performance Management: Manage and report on team performance against key indicators, driving continuous improvement in outcomes for service users.
Supervision & Mentoring: Offer high-quality supervision, coaching, and mentoring to managers and practitioners, fostering a culture of reflective practice and professional development.
Policy Implementation: Ensure the effective implementation of relevant national and local policies, procedures, and statutory duties (e.g., Care Act, Children Act).
Partnership Working: Act as a key stakeholder, building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal departments, external agencies, and community partners.

To be considered for this high-level role, you must meet the following criteria:
You must be a qualified Social Worker.
Current and valid registration with Social Work England is essential.
Hold an updated DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service check).
