Project lead required working with a specialist contractor to oversee refurbishment & reclad of a £17m heritage project in SW London. This is a long term freelance contract for around 12 months managing the full site team including a Site Manager, RLO, subcontractors and specialist trades.
Applicants must have previously worked on heritage projects as well as recladding schemes in order to be selected, interviews will be taking place immediately with the view to start asap.

Duties:
- Lead all aspects of the reclad project from planning to handover.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Oversee contractors, ensuring quality and communication.
- Ensure adherence to building regulations, planning permissions, and heritage guidelines.
- Proactively manage risks to protect the project's heritage aspects and overall success.
- Regularly report progress to senior management.
- Collaborate with design, heritage consultants, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified or NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management
- Proven experience leading large-scale heritage projects, ideally with reclad experience.
- Strong understanding of construction, technical specifications, and heritage building regulations.
- Expertise in heritage construction techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Commitment to preserving heritage and delivering high-quality results.
