You'll be joining a high-performing commercial team delivering a complex aviation package, supporting cost control, procurement, and subcontractor management - ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage commercial activities across key work packages from pre-construction through delivery.
Subcontractor procurement, contract administration (primarily under NEC).
Prepare and manage interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
Provide accurate cost reporting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
Liaise with clients, site teams, and consultants to drive commercial performance.
Work autonomously while collaborating with wider delivery teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Minimum 5+ years in Quantity Surveying roles within construction or infrastructure.
Strong NEC contract knowledge essential (JCT a bonus).
Previous experience in live airport or secure environments highly desirable.
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
Heathrow security clearance (or previous aviation experience) preferred.

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Senior or Project Quantity Surveyor to support major construction works at Heathrow Airport. This is a contract-based role with a highly regarded civils subcontractor at Heathrow.
