We are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for a regional business near Newbury.
They work on schemes up to £15 million across Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire in the education, care, industrial and social housing marketplaces and a majority of which is repeat business with existing clients alongside single stage bids.
The role is to manage schemes from contract award through to completion including subcontractor selection, placing orders, payments, valuations, variations and supporting the delivery teams through to project completion and then final accounts. You will also help with forecasting and preparing CVR,s.
They are a family owned, friendly traditional contracting business and if you want to join a business where you will be trusted to make your own decisions and work independently this is the opportunity for you.
Ideally candidates will come from either a similar contractor or if you are working for a Tier 1 and are frustrated with systems and procedures they would be interested in talking to you.
