A National Main Contactor is currently on the lookout for a Senior Site Manager to join the team and lead the delivery of construction projects across Glasgow and the Central Belt of Scotland. This person will be responsible for all aspects of site management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:
* Oversee all aspects of construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and building regulations.
* Manage and motivate site teams, including subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
* Implement and maintain robust health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
* Monitor and manage project progress against the program, identifying and addressing potential delays or issues.
- Subcontractor Management:
* Select, appoint, and manage subcontractors, ensuring they meet the required standards of quality and performance.
* Monitor subcontractor progress and performance, addressing any issues or conflicts promptly.
* Implement and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring that all works are carried out to the required standards.
* Conduct regular site inspections to identify and rectify any defects or non-conformances.
* Maintain effective communication with clients, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing any concerns or queries.
* Attend client meetings and site visits.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, including CDM 2015.
* Maintain accurate records of all health and safety incidents and investigations.
* Conduct regular risk assessments and implement control measures.
* Prepare regular progress reports, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and challenges.
Key Requirements:
* Proven track record as a Senior Site Manager/Site Manager within the construction industry, ideally with a Main Contractor
* Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building regulations, and health and safety legislation.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Ability to manage and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
* Proficiency in using construction management software and other relevant tools.
