Randstad C&P are recruiting for a skilled Senior Site Manager with a passion for construction and a knack for leading teams to success. We're seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of Site Manager for an exciting project in Oxford! The scheme consists of the construction of various steel frame industrial units, from soil remediation through to fit out and mechanical and electrical works. As a Site Manager, you'll be at the forefront of this endeavor, overseeing the implementation of high-quality construction practices and ensuring the project's success from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Implement and enforce stringent health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement proactive measures to address challenges.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, motivating and empowering team members to excel.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction projects, preferably with expertise in steel frame structures.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and inspire a diverse team.
- Thorough knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project management.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
