Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project life cycle, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and project specifications.
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
- Possess in-depth knowledge and experience with material specifications, including but not limited to flooring, doors, ceilings, and finishes.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their integration within villa construction.
- Liaise effectively with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project progression.
- Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials on-site, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality control procedures.
- Manage and coordinate the technical aspects of site inspections and snagging processes.
- Contribute to value engineering initiatives and identify potential cost efficiencies without compromising quality.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of demonstrable UAE experience within the construction industry.
- Extensive experience in large-scale residential building projects, specifically villa developments is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of working for a main contractor in a technical capacity.
- Comprehensive understanding of material specifications for interior and exterior finishes (flooring, doors, ceilings, etc.).
- Familiarity with local UAE building codes, regulations, and authority approvals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
