Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for your next challenge in the heavy civils sector? We're recruiting on behalf of a respected tier one civil engineering contractor, for a Site Manager on a major infrastructure project in the Dudley area.
About the Role:
As Site Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of site operations on a large-scale heavy civils project. You'll ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-profile scheme with long-term prospects and genuine career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead site operations including planning, coordination, and supervision of works
- Manage site teams and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient delivery
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and procedures
- Work closely with project management and engineering teams
- Report progress, manage resources, and resolve site issues as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within heavy civils (e.g. earthworks, drainage, structures)
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certification
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A solid understanding of HSE regulations and quality standards
