Randstad C&P are currently recruiting for a Site Manager working on various special works schemes of up to £5m for a growing regional contractor based in the Oxford area! The role can pay an attractive salary and offers Site Managers the opportunity to grow and progress with a dynamic contractor.
As a Site Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the successful execution of diverse projects, from concept to completion. These may be refubishments, conversions or new builds. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project progression.
- Implementing and maintaining strict health and safety protocols on-site, prioritizing the well-being of all workers and visitors.
- Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks or obstacles, and implementing effective solutions to mitigate issues.
- Collaborating closely with project teams, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment with project objectives and specifications.
- Providing regular progress reports to senior management, keeping them informed of project milestones, challenges, and achievements.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably overseeing projects of ranging values as a Number One.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
