Site Manager - £20M Steel Frame Warehouse Scheme - External Works Focus
Are you an experienced Site Manager with a background in delivering large-scale industrial or commercial builds? We're supporting a regional contractor in their search for a Site Manager to take the lead on a new £20M steel frame warehouse project.
This role will focus heavily on external works, including roofing, cladding, groundwork, and envelope packages. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring quality and safety standards are upheld throughout this major build.
What you'll be doing:
Overseeing day-to-day site operations on a large industrial warehouse scheme
Managing subcontractors and trades involved in external works and steel frame construction
Ensuring all work is delivered safely, to spec, and in line with programme milestones
Liaising with the Project Manager and senior team to report progress and resolve site issues
What we're looking for:
Strong background in managing external packages on steel frame buildings
Experience with warehouse or industrial units is highly desirable
Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors on complex build programmes
Keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

SMSTS Certification
