Are you ready to turn contractual promises into measurable social impact? A client of mine is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient SLTN Coordinator to manage their crucial Social Value and skills programs across regional infrastructure projects.
This is a Permanent position offering £40,000 per annum, based 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) in our Rainham, Essex office-ideal for a professional who thrives in a dynamic, centralized environment.
As the SLTN Coordinator, you are the strategic bridge between our project sites and the local communities, ensuring every contract delivers value beyond measure. Your core responsibilities will focus on:
Program Mobilisation: Drive the planning and tactical deployment of all skills, learning, and training (SLT) initiatives across our regional portfolio.
Compliance & Audit Mastery: Oversee meticulous data governance, track compliance metrics, and ensure robust reporting for all apprenticeship and Social Value (SV) outcomes.
External Partnership: Cultivate and actively manage relationships with key public sector clients (including TfL and local authorities) to maximize the positive social footprint of our work.
Workforce Development: Champion the integration of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) strategies into recruitment and progression pipelines.
Risk & System Integrity: Maintain precise record-keeping and database management, ensuring all training records and associated funding requirements are always audit-ready.
Team Guidance: Provide targeted briefing and mentorship to project managers, subcontractors, and the wider project team on evolving security, compliance, and skills systems.
Experience:
We are seeking a specialist who possesses a deep, demonstrable understanding of the unique demands of regulated sectors:
Social Value Expertise: Proven track record of successfully implementing and reporting on apprenticeship, training, or social value programs within a regulated infrastructure or civil engineering environment.
Funding Knowledge: Deep technical expertise in UK apprenticeship legislation, funding mechanisms, and social mobility initiatives.
Data Competence: Exceptional ability to manage complex data, utilize monitoring templates/spreadsheets, and handle meticulous compliance reporting.
Stakeholder Acumen: Proven ability to manage and influence high-level public sector stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships.
Project Oversight: A highly organized, proactive mindset required to oversee multiple concurrent projects and delivery contracts.
