Role Overview:
You will work closely with Social Workers to support kinship carers and foster carers, helping ensure children and young people receive the best possible care. This will include practical support, administrative tasks, and direct engagement with carers and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with visits to carers, families, and placements
Support with gathering and recording information for assessments
Coordinate meetings, take notes, and maintain accurate records
Liaise with carers, children, and professionals to support care plans
Provide practical support to enable positive outcomes for children
What we're looking for:
Experience working with children, families, or within fostering/kinship care
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Understanding of safeguarding principles
Driver with access to a car (desirable)
