We are looking for a committed and experienced Locum Social Worker to join our Learning Disability and Autism Service within Bath & North East Somerset. The role focuses on supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism through Care Act Assessments, reviews, Mental Capacity assessments, and support planning.

• Complete Care Act Assessments and annual/unscheduled reviews

• Carry out Mental Capacity Assessments

• Develop and implement support plans through our Brokerage Service

• Prioritize cases from the 'longest waits' list, including first-time and overdue assessments

• Work closely with service users, families, and multi-agency professionals to ensure quality care

• Maintain accurate and timely records using case management systems

• Qualified Social Worker with valid Social Work England registration

• Previous experience in Learning Disabilities and Autism essential

• Experience conducting Care Act and Mental Capacity assessments

• Familiarity with Liquid Logic (preferred)

• Enhanced DBS check required

• Access to a car is essential, as the role requires 50% of time on-site within the county for face-to-face assessments and visits

• Competitive locum pay rate of £38.00 per hour
