The Role:
As a Social Worker within our team, you will play a crucial role in providing person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities. You will be responsible for:
- Undertaking comprehensive assessments of individual needs and strengths.
- Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with individuals, their families, and other professionals.
- Safeguarding vulnerable adults and ensuring their well-being.
- Providing advice, advocacy, and support to individuals and their carers.
- Working in partnership with a range of agencies, including health, education, and housing providers.
- Contributing to the ongoing development of our services and promoting best practice.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with relevant legislation and policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW).
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Social Worker.
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
