Rate of Pay: £35 per hour
The Role
As a Social Worker in the MASH team, you will be the first point of contact for new safeguarding concerns, working in a highly collaborative environment. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Screening and assessing incoming referrals from professionals and the public, determining the appropriate level of response.
Working in partnership with embedded professionals from key agencies, including the Police, Health, and Education, to share information and build a comprehensive picture of risk.
Conducting robust risk analyses and making timely, child-focused decisions on cases.
Gathering and analysing information from various sources to inform safeguarding enquiries.
Making recommendations for further action, whether that's a referral to a frontline team for a Section 47 enquiry, a transfer to an Early Help service, or no further action.
Maintaining accurate and detailed electronic records in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
