Job Title: Social Worker - Adoption Assessment and Support Team
Location: Leicestershire County Council
Pay Rate: £38 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Undertake high-quality, in-depth assessments of prospective adopters and prepare Prospective Adopter Reports (PARs) to a high standard.
Work closely with the Permanence Team to identify and match children who need adoptive placements with suitable families.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to adopters and adopted children, from the point of placement until the Adoption Order is made.
Work effectively with a range of professionals, including foster carers, birth families, and other agencies, to ensure the best outcomes for children.
Manage a varied caseload, ensuring all work is in line with statutory requirements and adoption legislation.
