As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will be a vital part of a community. You will work closely with our Teachers and SENCo to provide tailored support and create a positive, empowering learning environment for our students.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with a variety of Special Educational Needs, including but not limited to, autism, dyslexia, and ADHD.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other support strategies.
- Help prepare and adapt learning materials to meet the specific needs of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and safe.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teaching staff.
- Promote independence and build self-esteem in students.
What We're Looking For
- A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and development.
- Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is highly desirable.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to be a flexible and proactive team player.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is a plus, but not essential. We are willing to support the right candidate with their professional development.
