Your Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Individual and Group Support: Assist teachers in delivering tailored educational programs and provide one-on-one or small-group support to students with special needs.
- Encourage Independence: Help students develop essential life skills and build their confidence, empowering them to become more independent in the classroom and beyond.
- Create a Positive Learning Environment: Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating atmosphere where every student feels valued and understood.
- Behavioral and Emotional Support: Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviors and provide emotional support, ensuring students feel secure and supported.
- Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), and other professionals to monitor student progress and adapt support as needed.

- A proactive and flexible approach to working with children with diverse needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Previous experience working with children, especially those with SEN, is highly desirable but not essential. We value a positive attitude and a willingness to learn above all else.
