Role Summary
In this role as a SEN Teacher, you will deliver tailored and inclusive lessons to children and young people with a range of additional learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Severe and Profound Learning Difficulties (SLD/PMLD), and Complex Learning Needs (CLD).
Your Responsibilities
- Teach a range of differentiated lessons designed to meet each student's specific educational needs.
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with the P Scales framework.
- Develop strong relationships with students to build trust and encourage engagement.
- Utilise creative and flexible strategies to maintain a positive and productive classroom.
- Provide assistance with student's personal care routines when necessary.
Key Requirements
- You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory (sponsorship is not available for this role).
- You must have a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be prepared to apply for one.
- Essential prior experience supporting SEN pupils in UK schools.
- Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
- You must be able to work Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
