The Role: Key Responsibilities
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, both individually and in small groups.
Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and assist with classroom management.
Implement and help develop individualized learning plans.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Work with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic student support.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who has:
Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach.
GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certification, which are highly beneficial.
