Specialist Mentor (Mental Health) - University of Cumbria

This rewarding position is ideal for professionals who want to provide one-to-one support for students experiencing mental health challenges that affect their academic performance.
Role Responsibilities
As a Specialist Mentor, your primary role will be to provide non-therapeutic, one-to-one support tailored to each student's individual needs. You will be responsible for:
Supporting students in achieving a healthy balance between academic responsibilities and everyday life.
Developing student's organisational and time management skills.
Helping students break down complex academic tasks into manageable steps.
Encouraging students to manage stress and anxiety related to their studies or personal circumstances.
Supporting students in reflecting on personal experiences and learning from them.
Building students' confidence by focusing on their strengths and achievements.
Preparing students for unfamiliar or potentially challenging situations.
Communicating regularly and promptly with Randstad about any concerns or issues.
Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Candidate Requirements
