As our ideal Academic Support Worker, you are diligent, possess excellent organizational skills, and have a keen eye for detail. You are reliable and committed to providing high-quality support to students.

• You hold a relevant degree qualification.

• You demonstrate excellent attention to detail and produce legible, neat handwriting.

• You have strong typing, spelling, and grammar abilities.

• You are punctual, reliable, and capable of working efficiently under time constraints.

• You possess strong organizational skills to manage your responsibilities effectively.

What will you be doing?

In this crucial role, you will ensure students with disabilities receive accurate and accessible notes from their academic sessions. Your work will be instrumental in supporting their learning and engagement.

• Attend lectures and seminars to provide comprehensive note-taking for students.

• Create clear, legible notes, both handwritten and typed, that are easily understood.

• Review and refine notes post-session to meet individual student requirements.

• Maintain a professional attitude and relationship with students at all times.

• Uphold institutional policies and procedures while prioritizing student interests.
