About the Role
As a Specialist Notetaker, you will attend lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions to produce clear, accurate, and well-structured notes. Your notes will serve as an essential learning aid, ensuring the student has equal access to course content and discussions.
Timetable
Support is required for the following sessions:
Monday: 9:00 - 17:00
Tuesday: 9:00 - 13:00
Thursday: 9:00 - 17:00
Friday: 9:00 - 17:00
Responsibilities
Produce accurate, concise, and accessible notes for all scheduled classes (typed or handwritten as required).
Review and edit notes post-session to ensure clarity and completeness.
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and appropriate boundaries at all times.
Prioritise the student's needs and work in line with University and Randstad procedures.
Communicate promptly with Randstad regarding any student or scheduling concerns.
Requirements
Excellent typing skills with strong spelling and grammar.
Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
Comfortable working in fast-paced academic environments.
Organised, discreet, and professional in all communications.
Must have access to a personal laptop for note-taking and email delivery.
