Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy recognised by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT)
- Full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists or proof of equivalent professional liability insurance
- Proven expertise in postural management, specialised seating assessment and adaptive equipment prescription
- Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience, including palliative care in an acute or community setting
- Excellent verbal, written communication and prioritisation skills
- Valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes

Responsibilities
- Plan, establish and deliver specialist occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual patient needs
- Assess physical, psychological, social and spiritual aspects of daily living to maintain and promote patient independence
- Implement symptom management interventions for fatigue, anxiety and dyspnoea on an individual or group basis
- Take a key role in discharge planning, environmental assessments and liaison with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies
- Prescribe, supply and arrange installation of specialised equipment and seating systems safely
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date treatment records and clinical statistics in compliance with RQIA and data protection standards
- Actively contribute to clinical governance, audits and continuous service development projects
