Responsibilities of this position involve the following:
- Leading and managing the History department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
- Developing and implementing an engaging and challenging curriculum that excites and inspires students
- Mentoring and supporting colleagues, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment
- Analysing data to monitor student progress and implement effective intervention strategies
- Promoting a love of history throughout the school and wider community
Requirements for this role:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in History
- Have proven experience in teaching History at all key stages, including GCSE and A-Level
- Be an outstanding practitioner with a deep subject knowledge and a passion for your subject
- Possess strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate others
- Be committed to raising attainment and providing the best possible education for all students
