Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Assessing and tracking pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborating effectively with experienced teaching staff and support staff.
- Communicating clearly and regularly with parents and carers.
- Adhering to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding guidelines.
Essential Criteria:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting pupils' learning.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working with children in a primary school setting (even as a volunteer or placement).
- Strong understanding of the UK Primary Curriculum.
- Knowledge of specific educational programs or initiatives used in primary schools (e.g., phonics schemes).
