About the Role
This is a Day-to-Day Supply position designed for the ultimate multi-tasker. As an SEN Teaching Assistant in Bristol, you won't just be "filling in"-edging closer to a permanent career, you will be the backbone of support for students with Autism (ASD), ADHD, and SEMH. No two days are the same, and no two breakthroughs are small.

Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group intervention for pupils with complex learning needs.
Implement tailored EHCP goals while fostering a "Nurturing Independence" mindset.
Manage classroom transitions and use de-escalation techniques to maintain a calm environment.
Collaborate closely with Class Teachers and SENCOs to track and celebrate student progress.
Requirements
Proven experience supporting children with SEN (essential).
Resilience and patience: The ability to remain a "calm port in a storm" during challenging behaviours.
Technical Savvy: Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, or Team-Teach is highly desirable.
Compliance: You must hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS check on the update service.
Local Knowledge: Ideally based in or around Bristol and ready to hit the ground running.
