We've partnered with amazing primary schools in the LS8 area to find a super dedicated Teaching Assistants. This is your chance to be a key figure in a child's education and feel like part of a family.
What You'll Be Doing
Working with teachers to deliver engaging lessons.
Providing one-on-one and group support to help pupils reach their potential.
Supporting positive behaviour to ensure a safe and welcoming classroom.
Preparing and tidying up learning resources to make sure everything is ready.
Supervising students during class and break times.
Keeping track of student progress and sharing that information with the team.
Collaborating with other staff members to create a great school experience.
Who We're Looking For
We're on the hunt for someone who is proactive and caring! To be a good fit, you should have:
A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification, or relevant experience.
At least 6 months of experience in a UK primary school classroom.
Strong communication skills.
A good understanding of child development and the school curriculum.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
A caring and patient personality.
The ability to work well with others in a team.
A strong dedication to safeguarding and child protection.
- Have an Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to get one through Randstad.
