Roles & Responsibilities
Design and implement a highly creative and challenging EYFS curriculum that caters to all learning styles.
Utilise formative assessment and detailed data analysis to track pupil progress and close attainment gaps early.
Lead and mentor a team of support staff, ensuring consistent and high-quality provision across the department.
Drive initiatives to improve phonics and early numeracy outcomes through engaging, evidence-based instruction.
Maintain an exemplary learning environment that reflects the school's high standards of presentation and engagement.
Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to contribute to the setting's overall improvement plan and strategic goals.
Act as a champion for inclusion, ensuring that pupils with SEND and EAL receive bespoke support to thrive.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory for this position.
Specialist knowledge or experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is essential.
Demonstrable track record of delivering "Good" or "Outstanding" teaching practice.
Strong understanding of statutory assessment requirements and the "Keeping Children Safe in Education" guidance.
A proactive, collaborative professional who is eager to contribute to the wider life of the setting.
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one.
