Roles & Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery: Designing and delivering engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of all learners within the classroom.
Assessment for Learning: Using frequent formative and summative assessments to track attainment and identify necessary interventions.
Subject Leadership: Taking responsibility for a specific curriculum area, coordinating resources and sharing best practices with colleagues.
Staff Mentoring: Managing and directing the work of classroom support staff to ensure cohesive pupil support.
Parental Engagement: Maintaining professional and proactive communication with parents and carers regarding pupil development.
Professional Development: Actively participating in school-wide planning meetings and professional learning communities.
Safeguarding: Adhering strictly to all safeguarding and child protection policies to ensure a safe learning environment.
Requirements
Certification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
Teaching Experience: Proven success in delivering the National Curriculum within a UK primary school.
Data Proficiency: The ability to analyse pupil data to drive teaching strategies and report on outcomes.
Teamwork: A collaborative ethos and the ability to work effectively within a large, professional team.
Ambition: A commitment to continuous professional improvement and a desire to take on leadership responsibilities.
Vetting: An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service is required.
