Key Responsibilities:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in creating a positive and productive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing one-on-one and small-group support to pupils, helping them stay on task and grasp new concepts.
Collaborating with the class teacher on lesson preparation, classroom displays, and resource management.
Confidently implementing the school's behaviour policies to ensure a safe and respectful atmosphere for all pupils.
Fostering a love of learning by providing encouragement and praise for pupils' achievements.
Offering a supportive presence for pupils, ensuring their emotional well-being is a top priority.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desirable, or you must have significant, demonstrable experience in a primary school setting.
An Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one).
The legal right to work in the UK without any restrictions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, flexible, and adaptable approach.
A genuine passion for education and a desire to help children thrive.
