About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be a vital part of a collaborative team, providing one-on-one and small-group support to students.1 Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Students: Implementing and adapting individual learning plans to help students with SEN achieve their academic and personal goals.2
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with the class teacher to create an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
- Progress Tracking: Monitoring and reporting on student progress, communicating effectively with teachers and parents.3
Key Requirements
We are looking for a professional who is passionate about inclusive education and has:
- A minimum of 6 months of experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK school.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- A current Enhanced DBS check or the willingness to obtain one.4
- Strong communication, empathy, and organisational skills.5
