About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and dedicated Support Manager to join our team in South Tyneside. You'll be responsible for leading and managing a supported living service, ensuring that the highest standards of care and compliance are maintained.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident leader with hands-on experience managing a home who is passionate about making a real difference in people's lives.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations within the home to ensure a safe, caring, and person-centred environment.
Provide clear leadership, guidance, and supervision to support staff.
Manage staff rotas, budgets, and service delivery to meet regulatory and organisational standards.
Maintain compliance with CQC and all relevant policies and procedures.
Build strong relationships with staff, service users, families, and external professionals.
Participate in an on-call rota, providing additional support outside of core hours.
What We're Looking For
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent management qualification) - essential.
Proven experience managing a home or supported living service - essential.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to changing needs.
A genuine commitment to high-quality, person-centred care.
