We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to provide 1:1 support to adults with learning disabilities. This is a highly rewarding role where you will be an integral part of helping someone live a full and independent life.
A car and driving license are essential for this role as you will be supporting individuals to access their local community and attend appointments.
What your day could look like:
Community Access: Supporting individuals to get out and about, whether it's for shopping, social activities, or attending appointments.
Daily Living Skills: Assisting with a range of daily tasks, which could include household chores, meal preparation, and managing finances.
Personalised Care: Providing support with personal care, and medication administration as outlined in a person's individual care plan.
Encouraging Independence: Empowering individuals to achieve their goals, learn new skills, and make their own choices.
Building Relationships: Developing a positive and trusting relationship with the person you support, and acting as their advocate when needed.
