Key Responsibilities
Daily Support: Helping with morning routines, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, welcoming home environment.
Emotional Advocacy: Building trusting relationships and providing a listening ear during challenging moments.
Community Engagement: Accompanying young people to school, appointments, and social activities.
Reporting: Maintaining accurate daily logs and incident reports to ensure the highest standard of care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Proven Experience: Minimum of 6-12 months experience working with children or young people (preferably in a residential or social care setting).
Driving License: You must hold a full UK driving license and be willing to drive the house vehicle for shifts and activities.
Resilience: The ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging behaviors with professional composure.
Flexibility: Willingness to work a shift pattern that includes evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
