We're looking for a Support Worker/Teaching Assistant to join our partnered esteemed SEN School in Snetterton. Key Responsibilities
This is a fulfilling and important role where you will directly impact a student's journey. Your main duties will include:
- Dual-Role Support: You'll be a key professional, providing both academic help in the classroom and personal support to students. You will be a source of stability and encouragement.
- Individualised Guidance: You'll work closely with students to help them achieve their learning and personal development goals. You'll need to be flexible and adapt your methods to their specific needs and emotional well-being.
- Building Trust: Your role involves creating strong, positive relationships with students. You'll act as a mentor, helping them handle difficulties and celebrate their accomplishments.
- Team Collaboration: You will be a crucial link between the student, teachers, parents, and other professionals. Your observations will be essential in tailoring the support a student receives.
- Behavioural Support: You will help students by using positive behaviour strategies to create a calm and secure environment where they feel motivated to learn.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is an empathetic and proactive person who genuinely wants to support young people. You should have:
- Eligibility to work in the UK and a valid Child DBS (or be willing to apply for one).

- Relevant Experience: Prior experience in a school, care, or volunteer role with young people is a big plus. Experience as a support worker or a relevant qualification is also a significant advantage.
