The Role
As a permanent member of the English department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic journeys of students across all key stages.
Broad Curriculum Delivery: Teach English across the age and ability range (KS3-KS4). Experience in A Level English Language and Literature is highly desirable.
Collaborative Planning: Work within a dedicated English Resource Room-a communal workspace designed for sharing ideas, resources, and best practices.
Reflective Practice: Engage in a culture of reflective and collaborative practice to continuously improve teaching and learning outcomes.
Data-Driven Progress: Monitor student performance to identify specific areas of need, ensuring every student has the support required to succeed.
Cross-Faculty Integration: Work with other departments to ensure that vocabulary and literacy skills are transferable and consistent across the school.
