We are seeking a dedicated and inspirational Maths Teacher to join our full-time team at a secondary school in Kirklees starting in September. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for KS5 depending on experience. Essential Requirements
... - QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Proven experience delivering high-quality Maths lessons (NQTs/Early Career Teachers also welcome).
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan, prepare, and evaluate schemes of learning in line with curriculum objectives.
- Set high expectations for students in both behaviour and achievement.
- Use formative and summative assessment effectively to monitor progress.
- Identify and support students with differing levels of ability and need.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in Maths education.
- Uphold the school's safeguarding policies and ensure student welfare.
- Use data to inform teaching and drive academic improvement.
- Organise and participate in Maths-related extra-curricular activities or enrichment.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, and classroom engagement.
- Attend meetings, parent's evenings, and whole school events as required.
