Responsibilities
Delivering engaging music lessons that cover theory, performance, and music history.
Leading extracurricular ensembles, from school choirs to rock bands and orchestras.
Preparing students for practical and written exams (GCSE/BTEC/A-Level).
Encouraging "Nurturing Independence" by helping students master their chosen instruments.
Collaborating with the Drama and Arts departments for seasonal showcases and productions.
Requirements
Qualification: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent, with a degree in Music.
Skill Set: Ability to play and teach at least one instrument (Piano or Guitar is often preferred).
Compliance: An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
Passion: A "lifelong learner" attitude and a genuine desire to see students succeed.
Right to Work: Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
