The Role:
As a Teacher of Religious Education, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality curriculum that challenges students, fosters deep thinking, and encourages respectful discussion. You'll teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, using your subject expertise to instill knowledge, compassion, and philosophical reasoning. Essential Requirements
... - QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Strong subject knowledge of RE curriculum, including major world religions and ethical theories
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging RE lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive learning environment that promotes inclusion
- Set and assess meaningful homework and coursework
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations
- Provide feedback that drives progress
- Monitor and track student achievement and adjust teaching accordingly
- Contribute to department planning and curriculum development
- Collaborate with pastoral and SEND teams for student support
- Support school events, assemblies, and extracurricular activities
- Lead or assist with enrichment opportunities, such as trips and workshops
