Essential Requirements
... - QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

- Strong subject knowledge in at least one of the science disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Effective planning, organisation, and time-management skills.

- The ability to reflect on and improve your teaching practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging Science lessons
- Set high expectations for all students and inspire success
- Assess, record, and report on pupil progress
- Differentiate lessons to support SEN, EAL, and high-ability learners
- Prepare students for internal and external assessments
- Create a stimulating learning environment with effective displays
- Participate in the development of schemes of work and resources
- Attend departmental, staff, and parent meetings
- Use data to inform teaching and improve outcomes
- Promote a love of science through enrichment activities
- Contribute to whole-school events and science initiatives
- Collaborate with colleagues across the curriculum
