The Role: Full-Time Chemistry Teacher

Key Responsibilities (10)
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across all Key Stages, particularly up to A-Level Chemistry.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Science department's curriculum.
- Maintain a stimulating, safe, and disciplined learning environment, particularly in laboratories.
- Set high expectations for student behaviour and academic achievement.
- Participate in school duties, including parents' evenings and staff meetings.
- Act as a tutor, providing pastoral support and guidance to a group of students.
- Implement school and departmental policies related to teaching and learning.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of chemicals and laboratory equipment safely.
- Engage in continuous professional development (CPD) to enhance teaching practice.
